Sarah and I love watching movies. Many times, we’ll think of an old movie that we loved and when we watch it today, we’ll say to each other, “Well that was a disappointment.”
That response happens more often than not.
This last weekend, we decided to watch “When Harry Met Sally.”
Before this, the last time I saw that movie was probably 30 years ago. I remembered it being funny and entertaining.
Usually when I watch a movie the second time, years later, I’m unimpressed.
The minute we began watching “When Harry Met Sally” we were laughing. A lot of the lines I had forgotten and were laughing as if it was the first time hearing them.
I have always liked Meg Ryan’s movies and have always found her to be very charming. Her humor is very subtle but hilarious.
And I have always loved Billy Crystal. I find him to be hysterical. I’ve been watching him since his days on the TV show “Soap.”
I love the way he delivers his lines, his cadence, his wittiness…overall a comedic professional.
He doesn’t need to use swear words to be funny. His delivery of his jokes and facial expressions makes his humor.
These comedic rules never die and survive the test of time.
That’s why I was able to watch this movie 30 years later and find it as funny as I did the first time.
This is similar to walking into a business that focuses on good ol’ fashion customer service.
You could walk into a business from the 50’s, that focuses on taking care of people and those same values are transferable to today.
But we are seeing less and less of this type of customer service, every year.
Businesses are focused on efficiency and dehumanizing the buying experience.
Here at Dente, taking care of our patients is our entire philosophy.
Good Ol’ Fashion customer service.
We are constantly making sure that their experience was top-notch, we check in with our patients after their treatment, and if needed, we have them come in to re-address their issue.
We are helping our patients to find solutions to their problems, and we are always trying to place ourselves in their shoes.
We are always trying to come from a place of understanding your wants and needs.
