Last Sunday we had a pretty bad thunderstorm and high winds.
I had no clue while it was going on. I was out like a rock. We are doing some major construction in the house, and we have been staying at a hotel for a few weeks.
I received a text from my neighbor on Monday morning telling us that part of our tree fell into our yard and took out our electrical wire. More than likely, we didn’t have any electricity.
Driving up to our street it looked like a tornado hit. Monday is garbage pickup day. So, the garbage cans had flipped over, and garbage was spilled over onto all the streets.
Our huge tree in our backyard had a massive branch that broke off. It landed onto the electrical wire and the wire was laying on the ground.
This is the second time this has happened and I’m a little freaked out.
Luckily the tree only landed where it did. This could have been a lot worse. It could have landed on top of our roof or worse, on our neighbor’s roof.
Getting rid of this massive tree is going to be a major pain. The pain of removing the tree has kept us from cutting it down, it’s a big obstacle.
Trying to avoid the headache of a painful event and the actual physical pain are what usually keep people from moving forward on certain projects.
In dentistry we see this a lot.
We have people avoiding dental care.
Sometimes is financial pain they are avoiding. Sometimes it’s a time crisis kind of pain that they are avoiding. But mostly it’s a fear of the entire dental process.
For those fearful patients, we offer Anxiety Free Dentistry. We give those patients anxiety reducing pills to help them relax during their appointment.
If you are anxious of going to the dentist and would like an Anxiety Free Dental consultation, please call 773-292-1911 or visit us at mydente.com to schedule today.
