As a kid I loved when we had snow. It was a blast having snow ball fights, making snow forts and things like that.
Also for my dad, being a gas station owner, having intense snow and extreme cold meant he had great production days. His business always did best with the extreme weather months because that’s when cars broke down. So when he was happy we were all happy.
I can’t remember the day when my love for the snow ended but it has.
I hate all this snow. It’s difficult to drive in, its difficult to park, the cold reaches all the way to your bones.
These changes in our perspective happens to us in a lot of things.Things that we liked in the past, may be unappealing to us now. This happens to a lot of people.
I know for me, I had a crooked upper tooth that never bothered me. Once I became a dentist, it was starting to become a problem.
I would recommend to patients that they should get their teeth straightened out. A few times these patients came back and said, “So do you.”
I straightened my teeth in my 40’s and don’t regret it for a bit.
As our roles in life change, our perspective changes as well.
Maybe you’re getting married. Maybe you’re doing more public speaking. Maybe you just broke up in a relationship.
