I really like wearing these down winter jackets, during the winter.
They are warm and aren’t that heavy. But it seems that I am always ripping them somehow.
I walk by something that has a sharp edge, it grabs a hold of my jacket, and all of a sudden my nice flawless jacket has now exposed down.
Very annoying and that’s how most of my down jackets to their ultimate fate.
Just recently, this same unfortunate event happened, with my new North Face vest. I was annoyed and called the store that sold me the jacket.
The woman was quite nice and heard my complaint. In a nice and soothing voice, she told me to bring it by and we’ll send it back to the factory. She said they could change out the ripped cells and it will be good as new.
I really appreciated this level of service but most importantly I loved that I was heard. Every business has things that don’t go as planned. It’s normal and no one can escape it.
