This past weekend was Finn’s first communion. It was very nice. One of the nice things was seeing all the kids in their suits and dresses.
When we went to pick out Finn’s suit, he had a clear vision of what he wanted. He wanted a dark colored suit, and he was very clear that he absolutely wanted a bow tie.
At first, I was thinking he was mixing up a bow tie with a regular tie. But when we got to the store, he pointed to the bow tie and said, “This is what I want!”
I was not sure about the bow tie initially, but once we dressed him, he looked totally cute. (Or should I say handsome?)
And most importantly he looked very happy in his new duds.
For me, picturing something without trying it on is very difficult.
This is no different with teeth. That is why, with every cosmetic case, we make a prototype of the proposed smile enhancement.
This allows the patient to see what their smile could look like without making any permanent changes to their natural teeth.
Basically, we make a plastic replica of the enhanced smile, then we slide it right over their natural teeth.
