This last weekend, we were working on painting our house.
First, we needed to remove this ugly dated wallpaper in the dining room that should have been removed years ago. We were dragging our feet because we had so many other issues that needed to be addressed first.
We bought a razor blade scraper and began to scrape the wall. The process was happening very slowly and it was creating these notches in the wall. It didn’t seem right so Sarah went onto the internet and looked up “How to remove wall covering.” It recommended using a steamer and then using a spatula to peel the wallpaper off.
We went to Home Depot, bought the steamer and all of the necessary tools to remove this blood red wallpaper. Initially, the wallpaper removal was slow but as we began figuring out the process we became very efficient. We were getting better the more we did it. Doing the same thing over and over again, can help you to get good at something
This is no difference in dentistry. I’ve been a dentist for almost 20 years.
I love what I do and am always looking to get better. I log in over 40 hours per week of actual patient treatment time. I am actually performing dentistry in peoples mouth.
This constant practice helps someone get very good and efficient at their craft. I’m always critiquing my work and am always thinking, how could have I done it better. Self improvement is something that will be with me for the rest of my life. It’s how I’ve always been.
This curiosity has helped me to constantly improve my skills. If you are looking for an experienced dentist, who is committed to performing the highest level of dentistry, please call 773-292-1911.
