People Are the Ones That Beat Ferrari

I saw the movie “Ford Vs Ferrari.”

It was a great movie.

The movie dealt with Henry Ford II and his desire to beat Ferrari in a 24 hour car race in France.

Ford assembled the best engineers he could find.

The main engineer was Carroll Shelby and he was selected to manufacture the best race car and best racing team.

Shelby chose Ken Miles to drive his race car because he was the best and gave them the best chance to win.

Ford and his exes did not like Miles because he was a controversial guy and did not want him to represent Ford.

Ford put their own driver and they were not successful with the races leading up to the big 24 hour race.

Shelby insisted that having Miles as the driver was critical for them to win the race. Shelby got his way and the Ford Race Cars began winning.

Shelby was clear about the people he needed to be successful. Having the right team is crucial to producing a great product.

Getting the right people is something that I realized early on.

It’s one of the things that I get most complimented on, here at Dente.
