From the second Finn was born, he loved dogs.
My entire life we had dogs. Everyone knew that my mom had a softness for animals and would come over with a dog that was about to be put to sleep or was mistreated.
My mom would take them in and usually these dogs required a lot of medical attention.
So our house was always full of animals and Finn is always around dogs when he goes to visit grandma. Even as a real little kid, he was never afraid of them.
He would place his hand by their mouth and Sarah would freak out that he might get bitten. He has a very gentle way with his interaction with the animals and they sense it.
My concern has been that all of the responsibilities will fall on Sarah. She’s the one that is mostly home and will be the one taking him out, feeding him, and all of the other responsibilities.
We expressed to Finn our concerns and he immediately said, “I’ll take care of him, I promise.” I expressed my doubt and he began to cry.
I came up with an idea to have him show me that he would take care of his dog. I called my mom to see if I could borrow one of her 3 dogs. She agreed and Benji moved into our house over the weekend.
I want him to show me that he is able to handle the dog responsibilities.
Basically test drive the dog and see if he will take care of him as he says he will.
In dentistry, not being able to look ahead at your future smile, for many people, is a huge barrier. For cosmetic work, it’s one of the biggest barriers.
People are not sure if the cosmetic change will make them look better. Being able to imagine how cosmetic work will look in your face, is difficult to do.
On every patient, we make a prototype of what the case will look like and place it into the patient’s mouth.
This will give the patient a mental picture of what the cosmetic changes will look like before they even start.
