Mega Million

I do not like to gamble. I don’t get the endorphin rush that a lot of people get when they gamble.

For me it’s pretty lame. But last week, I did place a bet.

One of my friends came into the office and informed me that the Mega Million Jackpot had gotten really high. I had to purchase a ticket.

During her appointment we talked about what we would do, if we had all that money.

It was a fun process, thinking of the things we would do or purchase if we won that amount of money.

I’m not into buying things too much. I’m more of an “experience” kind of guy.

I don’t sit around thinking of living in a bigger home or a nicer car. That stuff does not excite me at all.

What does excite me, is going to different countries, seeing amazing places, and meeting interesting people. That’s the stuff that gets me revved up.

I’m old enough to know that anything material that I buy, at first, is very cool. But after a month or so, it loses its’ coolness. It just becomes a car or a house.

Whereas, whenever I eat a great meal or see an amazing view or meet some amazing people, that great experience or memory stays with me forever.

So, my friend and I talked about all the cool places we would love to visit and how that would make us feel.

Using our imagination for to things we want to achieve, is a great thing.

People do this all the time.

We do this when we are imagining a more beautiful smile.

We imagine how our smile will look with straighter and whiter teeth.

We imagine how our teeth will look without the chips.

We begin to look in magazines and see a beautiful smile and imagine how that smile will look in our mouth.

Imagining the possibilities, is half the fun.
