The first time I saw the movie, The Sixth Sense, was 22 years ago. I loved the movie, but I only saw it that one time.
This last weekend, Sarah and I watched it.
Before the movie started, my wife, Sarah, told me that there was a red symbolism in the movie. Every time a ghost was in the room something red would appear.
Someone would have a red sweater, or there would be a red doorknob on the door and other things like that.
When I originally saw the movie, I missed all that red symbolism.
But once it was brought to my attention, I couldn’t stop seeing red.
For many people, seeing an imperfection with their teeth happens in the same way. One day you or someone else notices that your tooth is chipped, that it’s changing color, or that it’s crooked.
Once you notice it you can’t stop seeing it.
You’ll take a photo, and you’ll notice it in the photo.
You’ll be looking in the mirror and you’ll notice it.
You’ll be standing in front of a building and notice it off the window reflection.
Our mind starts becoming obsessed with it until you decide you want to change it.
