A big thing to do in our neighborhood is sit on your front steps and watch the kids play in the front yard. A lot of the neighbors will do that.
We have 15 kids on our block, so it’s pretty active with all the kids running around. It’s fun to watch them all interact with each other.
Lately, it’s becoming pretty difficult to sit out there for an extended period of time, with all these mosquitos.
For my entire life, mosquitos have loved me. There will be 10 people sitting outside and I’ll be the guy getting bit.
I’ll begin to feel them bite me and all of a sudden, I’ll slap my face, then my neck, then my arm. It’s a full-on feast. It feels like an all-out attack on any exposed piece of skin that I have.
I will usually get up, go inside, and try to avoid those blood sucking monsters. One of the bad things is, I’ll miss some great moments from watching my son and the kids playing out in front.
My response has always been, I don’t want to deal with this and just go inside. Now, I really don’t want to miss those moments with my kid, so I have bought a bunch of mosquito repelling products. I am not going to allow the annoyance and discomfort of being stung, control my life.
Many people will have a similar “aha!” moment when they decide to get their dental health back on track.
Many people are avoiding the dentist because of fear. They don’t know that there is a solution to this fear. But they have decided that they are no longer going to allow this fear to stop them from getting a healthier and more beautiful smile.
Our patients, who are dental phobic, will be given a couple of pills to help make them feel more comfortable and relaxed. Then they are able to get more work done, and sometimes they don’t even remember the appointment, only the results.
If you are ready to face your fear and experience anxiety free dental visits, give us a call at 773-292-1911 or visit us at mydente.com to schedule a dental consultation today.
