This past Friday, I told you how we were downtown at our friends home. They live a few blocks away from Millennium Park.
We had a great time with them but when we left his place, we hit horrendous traffic. People were celebrating Mexican Independence Day. There was bumper to bumper traffic.
It took me literally one hour to get from Michigan and Randolph to 290 expressway. That is usually a ten minute drive for me.
We sat back and instead of getting upset we enjoyed the people watching. Everyone around us were pleasant and having a fun time.
I remember seeing one car that had three young ladies in it. They were in their early twenties and they were sitting on the roof of a car, through the sunroof.
They were having a good time. And I kept thinking how I used to be younger and carefree.
Now that I have more years of life experience, I find that I am more cautious. But I still know how to have a good time.
Having more experience, has taught me a lot over the years. And I use that life experience to raise my son and be better person.
That experience has definitely worked in my professional life as well.
As a dentist, I have seen and done more treatment over the last 20 plus years. I am able to mentally see the outcome of dental treatment before we even begin. And I know it will result in a great smile.
