As a kid I LOOOOOOVED deep dish pizza.
But as an adult not so much. I really like the taste but don’t like the way I feel after eating it.
Deep dish is very rich and heavy and it feels like a brick sitting in my stomach.
This last week we had a bunch of dental meetings in Chicago. People from all over the world fly into Chicago to attend this massive convention.
I have friends flying in from all over and will call up to make dinner plans. I look forward to this time and reconnecting with old friends.
But the one drawback is they always want to get Chicago style, deep dish pizza.
They’ll always ask me, “What’s the best pizza in Chicago?” You ask 10 people from Chicago and you’ll get 10 different answers.
For me, I grew up in Skokie and Lou Malnati’s was our go to place. But it’s basically whatever you grew up on and what part of town you came from. Up North, over East, Southside, or Westside.
If you think about it, though, there is something that makes each of these restaurants stand out. It’s not just a deep dish pizza. Maybe it’s the crust, or the sauce, or something else. But it has it’s own unique style and taste.
On the surface, dentistry can feel like the same thing. You need a cleaning or a filling, go to a dentist.
Here at Dente, every patient has their own needs. So we create a completely customizable experience for each patient.
Whether it’s a creating a brand new smile, or a cleaning and check up appointment with the hygienist. Your appointment is specific to your needs.
If you haven’t tried Dente yet, check us out on Facebook. Or call us today, for your individualized appointment time. We may not have deep dish pizza, but we all know which one is the best.
