Baseball Showdown: Cubs Vs Sox
This last Saturday, Finn and I went to a Cubs game. This was our first game together.
The Cubs were playing the Atlanta Braves. We had great seats on the third base line, just behind the Cubs dugout.
The Cubs played a great game and each time the Cubs came off the field, Finn would get up to yell for the players to throw him a ball.
The weather was sunny and in the 70’s. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect day to watch a ball game.
In my opinion, there isn’t a better ballpark than Wrigley Field. Maybe Fenway Park is a close second, but Wrigley is the best. It’s just an electric place and it’s always a fun time.
A couple of years ago, I took Finn to a Sox game, and he liked that experience, but I thought for sure he was going to like the Cubs game over the Sox game.
So, I turned to Finn and asked him, “Are you having fun?”
He quickly responded an enthusiastic, “YES!”
Then I asked him, “Which game did you like better, the Cubs or the Sox?”
He then responded just as quickly and enthusiastically, “The SOX!”
I was in complete shock. In my head, I was thinking, “How can he even compare Wrigley to Sox Park?” Then I followed up, “Why did you like the Sox game better?”
He responded, “Because they have games for kids.”
At Sox Park, they have a Kid Zone that offer different activities for the kids.

We all like things our own special way. And those things are different from person to person.
We also see this in dentistry. Certain patients will want to go over their X-rays with you. While others don’t want to look at their X-rays at all. Not one x-ray.
Certain people will want the pre-numbing gel just before we give them a shot. While others hate the pre numbing gel.
Seeing our patients on a consistent basis helps us know their likes and dislikes.
Seeing the same dentist at your dental appointments is a dying business model.
We are noticing more multiple provider practices and the patient will see whoever is available.
Here at Dente, that is not the case. You get to see me, Dr. Couret, with over 20 years of experience, each and every time.
This level of consistent care helps you get the best care possible. If you are looking for an experienced dentist, with over 20 years of experience, please visit us at mydente.com or call 773-292-1911 to schedule your consultation today!
