This last week, my mom was getting some dental work done and brought Finn with her to her appointment.
I let him assist me during the appointment. He helped with the suctioning and handing the instruments to me.
Then my mom got her teeth cleaned and Finn helped Sara, the hygienist, with my mom’s cleaning appointment.
Finn told me that he had fun and wanted to work at Dente as an assistant during the summers.
Many of my friends became dentists because they worked with their dad as a dental assistant.
Then I began to think what if Finn decides to become a dentist and we one day work together as a father and son team.
I have to admit…I kind of liked that possibility.
