Last year we bought a dog. When we bought the dog, we picked from two different dogs. One dog was very calm and not really responding to Finn. Our current dog immediately jumped on Finn and was licking him all over his face.
He instantly knew that was the dog that he wanted. I tried several times to convince Finn to choose the calm dog, but he was set that Luca was the one.
The moment we brought Luca home, he was very hyper, eating and chewing on everything. Everyone told us it was a puppy faze and he would grow out of it.
Luca just turned one year old, and his behavior is still hyper and wild.
Whenever we have anyone come to the door, Luca jumps all over them. It’s very embarrassing and stressful whenever we have guests.
Going for walks is a nightmare. He is chasing every squirrel, rabbit, leaf and is pulling us the entire time.
Whenever we go on walks and see another dog it's constant barking and jumping.
It is the most unpleasant experience. I know that we needed some help and called a professional dog trainer.
This dog trainer has over 20 years of experience training dogs. The second he got to the house he obtained control of Luca.
Within 30 minutes we were walking Luca at our pace. He didn’t run off chasing squirrels or any other object.
The first thing Gabriel did was show us how the dog could act. He did it quickly. He gave us hope and more importantly he showed us what was possible.
It gave us confidence that we had the right guy and confidence to move forward with further training.
