This last week, Finn was at football practice in this indoor facility by our house. The temperatures by our house were in the upper 90’s and his coaches felt it would be safer to practice indoors.
When I was walking into the facility, a bunch of grammar school boys were walking out with their backpacks and their baseball uniforms.
This was our neighborhood travel baseball team. Each one of the boys had a backpack.
These backpacks were filled with their gear like batting helmets, gloves, batting gloves, and each had 2 baseball bats sticking up from the backpack.
This is not just for baseball but every sport has their commercialized gear.
They tell them if you don’t have this then you will not succeed.
By the way…I’m guilty of this myself.
I hear patients all the time tell me, “What new toy did you buy this time?”
And it’s the truth. I am a victim of that same thinking, that if you don’t have certain updated equipment then you won’t succeed.
The most important thing to someone’s success is their attitude and their effort. This is Dente’s biggest reason for its success.
